Silver Chest

While formal silver service is no longer common in many homes, this chest provides a modern storage solution for all your flatware and serving utensils. The carcass has hand cut half-lapped dovetails showing off the combination of natural beauty and the maker’s craft. The clean lines of the locking frame and panel door highlights the single piece panel and handmade brass escutcheon. The four drawers each feature curly maple sides, custom ebony pulls, and silver-cloth liners to protect the contents of the chest. The top drawer is fitted with flatware inserts designed to hold service for twelve.
