A Life Built by Hand
My love for building and creating began long before I ever set foot in a professional woodshop. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, my childhood was filled with kinds of projects—from building forts in the woods to elaborate Lego creations strewn across the living room floor; I’ve always used my hands to make things.
One of my earliest memories of woodworking was making a Pinewood Derby car with my dad while in Boy Scouts. He helped translate the vision I had in my mind into reality, showing me how to shape the wood and bring my design to life. Not long after, an eighth grade shop class ignited the spark that has illuminated my path since. My shop teacher, Mr. Nelson, encouraged us to use our imaginations and go beyond the basic designs. He showed us that we could make something that was not only useful but also attractive. That idea, of making things that are both functional AND beautiful captivated me. This aspect of woodworking instantly appealed to me and continues to inspire me today.

A New Chapter in Craft
Fast forward more than a few years, and after a successful career in the Army, I found myself in a position where I could truly follow my passion for woodworking.

In 2017 I started my studies at the North Bennet Street School in Boston—a well known and highly respected institution for traditional craftsmanship. There I completed the Cabinet and Furniture Making program, which focuses on hand-crafting furniture using traditional joinery and construction techniques.

The program provided me with the foundational skills and disciplined craftsmanship that now guides my work in the shop every day.
Craft Rooted in Tradition
In 2020, I returned home to the Pacific Northwest, settling near Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. From my workshop, I create bespoke furniture, custom built-ins, and architectural woodwork for clients across the country.

Each piece is designed with intention and built using traditional techniques that celebrates craftsmanship, accentuates beauty, and respects the natural character of wood.

Built to Last for Generations
Furniture should be more than functional—it should become part of a home’s story.

Whether it’s a custom dining table, a thoughtfully designed built-in, or a one of a kind architectural piece tailored to your space, my goal is always the same: to create something meaningful that will be used, appreciated, and passed down for generations.

It would be a privilege to work with you to design and build a piece that will grace your home for years, if not generations.
