Hanging Tool Cabinet

Most traditional woodworkers have at least one vanity piece in their shop, this is mine. Built to store and protect my tools, it keeps everything organized and reflects the mantra of “A place for everything and everything in its place.” The carcass is constructed from curly cherry and the mitered corners are reinforced with dovetail ebony keys. The front panel is covered with book matched, quilted big leaf maple veneer giving it an organic three dimensional feel. Every joint was hand cut and the layout of the tools is such that I know exactly where everything is without having to look.
